Loving Words
“Oh, my goodness, where do I start! I'd attend this Soul Seva Women's Retreat 1000 times over as Dr. Ren did beyond a fabulous job in providing an awesome experience for me to learn self-care (yoga, meditation, empowering myself), stretch myself (hiking to the Montezuma waterfall), and ena experiencing sisterhood, and in country and villa that was perfect (being in my happy place beach, nature.
The Casa Curva Villa was so relaxing in the midst of the Costa Rica Jungle, high in the hills. Awaking to the birds singing was lovely in the mornings. Private Chef meals were delicious and Sergio for transportation so great.
One of the things I enjoyed and appreciated most is the grace and kindness Dr. Ren showed to the women on this retreat, always providing a trusted environment for us throughout the trip and the workshop”.

Upcoming Retreats 2026
Cartegena, Columbia
It all begins with you taking a leap to believe that you deserve the best of what life has to offer. Join Dr. Ren for a transformative holistic women's retreat in CARTEGENA COLUMBIA which is one of the major ports on the northern coast of Colombia in the Caribbean Coast Region, along the Caribbean Sea. Cartagena's past role as a link in the route to the West Indies provides it with important historical value for world exploration and preservation of heritage.
The present city—named after Cartagena, Spain and by extension, the historic city of Carthage— settlement by various indigenous people in the region around Cartagena Bay dates from 4000 BC.
This exclusive, intimate experience is designed to empower you to rest deeply, explore a new country, lay on a sandy beach, explore CARTEGENA’S vibrant culture and connect with a powerful community of women. Together, we'll explore the art of slowing down, nurturing our bodies and minds, and reclaiming our space in a safe and held environment to rediscover self.
Indulge in organic meals, curated activities, and breathtaking excursions, all while surrounded by the vibrant and colorful city of CARTEGENA.
Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vinyard
For generations, Black poets, writers, musicians and the like have turned to Oak Bluffs as a peaceful rest, refuge, ancestral history, and creativity meet in full view for all to see.
Generation after generation, Martha’s Vineyard — near Cape Cod off the southeastern coast of Massachusetts — A picturesque New England haven; has been a sanctuary for Black people.
A soft breeze off the ocean of the famous Inkwell Beach is part of Oak Bluffs Town Beach. Since the 1800s the Inkwell Beach has long been a popular destination and summertime sanctuary for Black families, and it is adored by many. It is a small stretch of beach that has been visited by generations and is the center of culture and activity in the summer months. There are HBCU celebrations, lobster rolls (don’t get me started) you can’t resist, sand in your toes, Back Door Donuts, yoga on the beach, Aquinnah Cliffs, Illumination celebrated since 1869, porch-front conversations between family, friends and loved ones.
Known as a haven for Black excellence and intellectuals, Oak Bluffs represents more than just a summer get-away. Oak Bluffs was a rare exception when historically systemic roadblocks stopped most Black Americans from securing and owning property elsewhere in the country.
That autonomy afforded them the ability to build generational wealth, memories, life-long relationships for what would become a summer reprieve and retreat for Black excellence, creativity, love and joy.
